Obituary for Margaret M. Emery (b. July 10, 1851; d. May 13, 1937)

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, May 1937, for Mrs. Margaret M.
Emery, 85, who died Thursday morning at 6:30 o'clock at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. S. W. Blake on Bowman Ridge, Marshall County. Brief rites will be
held at 1:00 o'clock at the Lutes Funeral Home, Moundsville, and additional
services will follow at 2:00 o'clock at the Salem Church of Christ. C. D. Plum
will be in charge and interment will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Emery, the widow of the late Michael Emery was a lifelong resident of
Maarshall County. She was a member of the Borman Ridge, Salem Church of Christ.
Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Blake of Bowman Ridge; and Mrs. H. T.
Richmond of West Liberty; three sons: T. D. Emery of Cameron; E. E. Emery of
Rosbys Rock; and S. J. Emery of Bowman Ridge; 8 grandchildren and 38
great-grandchildren.
