Claburn - Bud - Hicks Cemetery Contributor: Phyllis A. Coburn Griffith Directions: Go up the Big Creek Road 2.9 miles to the intersection with Mountain Fork, keep left on Mountain Fork for 2.7 miles. At the intersection at the mouth of Split Fork, keep left for .2 miles. The cemetery is on the hill on the left of the road. A jeep trail leads to the cemetery (about 50 yards). The cemetery is located at: Latitude---370 20.483N Longitude---810 37.381W This cemetery had numerous graves marked only with field stones. One section (where the C.L. Hicks was marked in a similar way--no other marker. The next grave (Mose Hicks) was marked with similar flowers marked GRANDPA.
