WV Taken from McDowell Co, WV courthouse, Deed Book Adam Muncy To Deed Moses Muncy 100 acres Dry Branch This deed made this the 8th day of July, 1897, between Adam Muncy and Mary Muncy, his wife, of the first part and Moses Muncy, his wife, Arminta, of the second part, all of the county of McDowell and State of WV. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of ($100.00) one hundred dollars paid in hand by the parties of the second part for which the parties of the first hath sold bargained and conveys unto the parties of the second part, with conveying of a special warrant, a certain described tract of land described as follows: lying on the head of the Dry Branch, a tributary of the Dry Fork, adjoining the Parker lands, containing 100 acres more or less. Beginning on top of the ridge between the Dry Branch and the north branch on a maple and white oak; thence running across the said Dry Branch to the top of the ridge to a chestnut corner between the Dry Branch and Bradshaw Creek; thence running the top of the ridge round the head of the Branch so as to include all the lands from the corner described line across said Branch to the beginning corner, the maple and white oak, to contain 100 acres more or less. To have and to hold unto the parties of the second part with the covenant of a special deed with all the rights and titles invested in us.
