McDowell Co. WV Deeds                                                                                                                                         From McDowell County Courthouse Deed book 6  page  324.

This deed made this April 2nd 1883 between Moses Muncy of the 
first part and Miles Roberts of the second part, all of the 
county of Buchanan and State of Virginia.  Witnesseth that 
for and in consideration of the sum of 25 dollars in hand 
paid (parts marked out by x's) the party of the second part 
to the party of the first part, the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged and the said party of the second part forever 
released from the party of the first part doth grant bargain 
sell and convey unto the party of the second hast all his 
interest in a 54 acre survey in the name of Marshal Robberts 
deceased of the part conveyed to him by Marshal Robberts, 
Minda Robberts, John P. Robberts, Nancy Robberts, William 
Collins, Dicy Collins, Daniel Steel and Nancy Steel heirs 
at -law of Marshal Robberts, deceased; the party of the first 
part only conveys and covenant of special Warranty only such 
title as is to the foregoing deed bearing date March 6, 
personally appeared before me and acknowledged the same 
given under my hand this March 6th.
