Attended by Doctor 3 Dec 1921 - 6 Dec 1921. Died from Compound fracture of 
skull caused by gunshot wound accidental.

Additional Comments:
James Willie Perdue was the 15 yr old son of Joseph VanBuren Perdue and Geneva 
Minnis Pruitt. This couple had seven children, five of these were sons. James 
was one of three sons who died before the age of twenty, two from "accidental" 
gun shot wounds to the head. James lived for three days after being shot. He 
was buried in Switchback Cemetery, McDowell Co., WV along with brothers Lermon 
E. Perdue born 10 Oct 1908 died 5 May 1928 (no death certificate?) and Dewey 
Herbert Perdue born 27 July 1914 died 3 Sept 1933 (also "accidentally" shot in 
the head).
