HARMON CEMETERY, McComas, Mercer County, West Virginia This information was collected on July 17, 2001 by David Hambrick, Jack Taylor, and Ken Bowen and contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives on Sept. 6, 2001. ======================================================================= A four wheel drive truck is needed to get to this cemetery. From downtown Montcalm, turn left and go four and a half miles to McComas, and keeping right go to the Crane Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church. Turn right on a dirt road a little past the church, and go the the end of the road. The road is rough and steep for more than a mile. Since the caretakers Tracy Spicer and Joe Jones died years ago, the cemetery is now heavily over- grown with trees and brush. There's 17 graves with tombstones,and an unknown number of graves in the brush. Everette C. Thompson U. S. Army World War II May 12, 1924 - July 9, 1990 He's buried below the road.
