All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/wv/wvfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Janet King JPerdue192@aol.com February 9, 2009, 3:28 am Written: April 20, 1844 Recorded: April 20, 1844 This indenture made this twentieth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four between William Tiller of the one part and Kinzie & Hiram Tiller of the other part witnesseth that the said William Tiller for and in consideration of the love and affection he bears to the said Kinzie Tiller and Hiram Tiller has granted and given and by these presents does grant and give unto the said Kinzie Tiller and Hiram Tiller their heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land lying in the county of Mercer on the waters of East River and on the north side of East River Mountain containing by estimate one hundred acres with all the singular the advantages and appurtenaces what so ever to the said William Tiller belonging or pertaining to the only proper use and behoof of them the said Kinzie Tiller and Hiram Tiller their heirs and assigns forever to have and to hold the said tract with the tenements, (unreadable?) all and singular here in before mentioned or intended to be bargained and sold and every part and parcel thereof with every of his rights members and appurtenances unto the said Kinzie Tiller and Hiram Tiller their heirs and assigns forever, and the said William tiller for himself and his heirs the said tract with all and singular the premises and appurtenances before mentioned unto the said Kinzie Tiller and Hiram Tiller their heirs and assigns free from the claim or claims of him the said William Tiller his heirs and assigns and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said William Tiller has here unto set his hand and seal on the day and year first above written. William Tiller (seal) This deed of gift conveying land from William Tiller to his sons Kinzie and Hiram Tiller was presented to me in the Clerks office of the County Court of Mercer with the certificate of acknowledgement by the said William Tiller before two Justices annexed and admitted to record.
