BROWN Resident of Princeton, Ingleside Dies of Heart Ailment. Funeral services for Thomas Luther Brown were conducted Saturday at 2 o'clock from the home on the Princeton-Ingleside road by the Rev. Z.F. Mayberry. Interment was in the family cemetery at Hardy, where members of the IOOF lodge of Oakvale will officiate. Mr. Brown, 67, died at the Memorial Hospital in Princeton Wednesday of a heart ailment. Mr. Brown was a life-long member of the Methodist Church and prominent in his community in church and civic interests. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lou D. Brown, eight children: Alfred of Kimball; Ray, of Raven; Miss Mae Brown, Coalwood; Herman of Ingleside; Mrs. Cora Williams, Mrs. Nellie Six and Macy Wright, Princeton; Roy Holiday, Martinsville, VA.; three brothers, Bill, Ben, and John Brown; and one sister, Mrs. Lida Burton, Bluefield. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elsie Brown; three brothers, Carson, Henry and Mansel Brown; and by a niece, Mrs. Dorothy Carper, who made her home with the Browns.
