Hager, 81, of Abingdon, Va., formerly of Princeton, died Saturday morning at his home in Abingdon. A native of Mercer County, he was a son of the late Samuel and Rebecca Winfrey Hager. He was a retired farmer and a member or Carr Memorial Methodist Church at Glenwood Park. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Glenn J. Hager, nine daughters, Mrs. Harold Martin, Mrs. Roy Harman, and Mrs. Lake Hill of Princeton, Mrs. Estell Scott, Mrs. Robert Runion and Mrs. Ruth Steele of Alexandria, Va. Mrs Margaret Vest of Seymour, Ind., Mrs. Robert Beech of Roanoke, Va., and Mrs. Pete Myers of Welch; five sons, Earl Hager of Bluefield, Edmond and Kenneth Hager of Kopperston, Howard Hager of Glenwood Park and Arnold Hager of Oceana; three sisters, Mrs. John Harman, Mrs Everett Hambrick and Mrs. Fay Kahle of Princeton. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Carr Memorial Methodist church at Glenwood Park with Rev. Dewey Nelson and Rev. Charles Scraggs officiating. Burial will follow in Monte Vista Park Cemetery.
