(Sully) Hager Paul R. Hager, 62, of Brushfork-Littlesburg Road in Bluefield hospital following a long illness. Born in Richlands, Va., he was a son of the late Frank C. and Eliza Cheetham Hager. Hager had been a resident of Bluefield his entire life, attended the Bluefield public schools and business College and was a retired clerk for the N and W Railway. Serving in the Army during World War II, Hager was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and a member of the following Masonic Orders; the Mercer A. F. & A.M. No. 160, the Scottish Rites Bodies, a 32nd degree Mason K.C.C.H., the Bluefield Shrine Club, the Bluefield Shrine Patrol, Bene Kedim Shrine of Charleston and he was the recipient of the Bluefield Shrine Club's award as Shriner of the year in 1975. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lucile Umburger on December 8, 1976. Survivors include on daughter, Brenda Gregg of Orlando, Fla., three sisters, Mrs. W. R. (Flossie) Kuhn of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. D. F. (Lucille) Mamber of St. Petersburg Fla, and Mrs. E. N. (Lois) Lee of Rock Hill, S.C. Services will be conducted at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Saturday at 2 p.m. with Paster Paul Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at the Monte Vista Park Cemetery.
