Obituary of Mrs. Lilly C. Jarrett (Copy found in the papers of Lottie Blanche {Harman} Boswell) Newspaper: unknown date: unknown Funeral arrangements are in- complete for Mrs. Lilly Catherine Jarrett, 74 of 1421 Carlina Ave., Bluefield, who died early Friday in Bluefield Sanitarium. A native of Wythe County, VA., she was a daughter of the late James and Frances Scott Rose, and the widow of William T. Jarrett. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are four sons, William Jarrett, with whom she made her home, James Jarrett of Orlando, Fla., and Elmo Jarrett of Radford, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. E. R. Thomas of Falls Mills, Va., Mr. Blanche Gilman of Williamson, and Mrs. Helen Joyner of Bluefield. Twenty grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Sexton of Teas, Va.; and a brother, Walter Rose of Bluefield, also survive. The body will remain at Hawkin's Funeral Home where friends may call after 3 p. m. Saturday.
