Last will & testament of U. G. Wright (Cole)

Know all men by there presents:

That I, U. G. Wright, of Mercer County, West Virginia, do hereby make and
declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all
wills by me at any  time heretofore made.

First I desire that all of my just debts if any be paid out of my personal
property by my Executrix, hereinafter named.

I give and bequeath all of my personal property to my daughters Bessie
Mabel Wright and Dana Mae Smith, to have and share alike.

All the residue of my estate real and personal of which I shall die seized
and possessed, or to which I shall at my decease in any way be entitled, I
give, devise, and bequeath to my daughters Dana Mae Smith and Bessie Mabel
Wright, to have and share the same.

I nominate and appoint my said daughter Bessie Mabel Wright to be the sole
Executrix of my estate, and direct that she be exempted  from giving an
official bond.

In witness hereof I hereunto set my hand, and seal, and published and
declare this to be my last will this the 7th day of September, 1951.

Signed, sealed, published, and declared by the said U. G. Wright, as and
for his last will and testament, in the presence, of us in his presence,
and at his request, and in the presence of each other, have subscribe our
hand in witnesses.

*Submitter Note:* This U. G. Wright (Cole) was also known as Ulysses Grant
Cole. The obituary of his daughter, Bessie Mable gives her last name as
being Cole where as in the above will it refers to her as Bessie Mable
Wright.  He was he son of Augustus Washington Cole, Jr. and Lucy Wright of
Mercer County, W.Va. He had one brother, Joseph David Cole and one sister,
Florilla Beau wright Cole Shannon. Confusing when 0ne and the same use two
different names and at different times. Time and research does
reveal....many things.
