Eddy was the son of L.A. and P.C. Eddy. Adam Tennant was the son of Richard and Elizabeth Haught Tennant. Brown Tennant died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was the husband of Indabelle Tennant, daughter of Jacob W. Tennant. Catherine Tennant was the wife of Adam Sr., and the daughter of Michael and Eve Moore. David E. Tennant was the son of Simon Peter and Martha Bradford Tennant. Edna E. Tennant was the daughter of Alpheus and Sarah E. Tennant. She died of burns. Jacob W. Tennant was the son of Emrod and Anna B. Moore Tennant, and the husband of E. Delpha Wilson. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. John M. Tennant was the son of Jasper and Martha Catherine Willard Tennant. Lula H. Tennant was the daughter of Jacob W. and E. Delpha Wilson Tennant. She died of consumption. Rebecca Tennant was the daughter of Simon Peter and Martha Bradford Tennant. Simon Peter Tennant was the son of Emrod and Anna B. Moore. He died of dyspepsia. William C. Tennant was the son of Alpheus and Sarah E. Tennant. Fred Willard was the son of George and Cora A. Tennant Willard. He died of typhoid. Infant Willard was the son of Charles and Evie A. Willard. Sarah Willard was the daughter of G.W. and C.A. Tennant Willard. She drown in a spring not far from the cemetery. Augusta Ann Tennant was the wife of Peter E., who was the son of Simon P. and Charlotte Tennant. She was the daughter of Jasper and Martha Willard Tennant. John Adam Tennant was the son of Simon Peter and Martha Bradford Tennant. Martha Tennant was the first wife of Simon Peter Tennant and the daughter of J. Zimmerman and R. Bradford. She died of "childbirth fever". Martha E. Tennant was the daughter of Jacob W. and E. Delpha Wilson Tennant. She died of the croup. Minerva Tennant was the daughter of Michael and Margaret Tennant. She died of consumption. Mirtle O. Tennant was the daughter of Jacob Wesley and Savannah Tennant. Her sister, Gladys Wells, had her removed from the cemetery to St. Luke Cemetery at Mooresville. Also moved were her parents, and another sister, Grace. Alpheus Tennant, who this cemetery was named after, is not in this cemetery. He and his wife, Sarah Park Tennant, are in the Lemley Cemetery at Daybrook.
