From the inter- section of Rt. 7 & Rt. 218 at Blacksville, go 2.8 miles, turn right, go .6 miles up the dirt road to the cemetery. It is on the right side of the road, on top of the hill. Pines mark the cemetery. Lemley, was a daughter of Jacob and Rebecca Tennant Lemley. Jacob Lemley was the son of David and Nancy Lemley. Adam Moore was the son of Jacob and Mary Tennant Moore Mary Moore was the daughter of Adam & Catharine Moore Tennant, and wife of Jacob. Mary Tennant was the wife of Ezra, and daughter of David and Prudence Morris Myers. Mahlon Tennant was the son of Asa and Eliza Tennant. His wife, Sarah Ellen, was the daughter of David and Nancy Freeman Lemley. Essie and Sarah Ellen Tennant were the unmarried daughters of Luther and Mary Wilson Tennant. Lora D., called Dee, was the unmarried son of Luther and Mary Wilson Tennant. Luther Tennant was the son of Mahlon and Sarah Ellen Lemley Tennant. His wife, Mary, was the daughter of Fletcher B. and Elva Ellen Brookover Wilson. Freddie Tennant was the son of Nelson and Margaret Wilson Tennant. He died of membranous croup. Orpha Wayson was a mulatto. Bessie was her daughter and said to have been fathered by a Lemley. Charlotte T. Wilson was the second wife of Simon Peter Tennant and after his death she married William Wilson. She was the daughter of Solomon and Cassandra Ingraham Tennant. Infant Wilson was the daughter of David and Caroline Myers Wilson. Learnie D. Wilson was the son of George and Mary Elizabeth Wilson. George and David Wilson were brothers.
