It is 8.4 miles from the intersection of Rt. 19 and Rt. 7 at Morgantown. It is on the right, in an open field, with 2 pines. Brown, Abraham - died September 27, 1854, 66y 4m Brown, Elizabeth - w/o Abraham, died June 29, 1851, 55y 3m 22d Brown, Emanuel - died September 13, 1851, 29y 1m 12d Brown, Rachel - w/o Emanuel, died September 9, 1851, 28y 11m 9d Brown, Martha - d/o Emanuel & Rachel, died July 22, 1851, 4y 8m 9d Brown, Abraham Jr. - died July 24, 1851, 19y 2m 5d Brown, Thomas - s/o John & Louisa, d. May 13, 1859, 1y 2m Tennant, Elizabeth - w/o Daniel R., died April 23, 1865, 22y 1m 22d NOTE: This cemetery tells a sad story. An epidemic of typhoid in 1851 took Abraham Browns wife on June 29th, his grand daughter on July 22, and a son 2 days later. Then in September, another son, Emanuel, dying of the disease, with his wife Rachel dying within days of Emanuel, leaving 4 small children. Abraham died 3 years later, before witnessing another family tragedy, when 5 more of his grandchildren died of diphtheria. (Price Cemetery) Elizabeth Tennant was the daughter of Emanuel and Rachel Brown. She died of a cold. Abraham was the son of Adam and Christena Brown. His wife, Elizabeth, was the daughter of Michael and Catherine Core.
