The wagon wheel broke, and he left it where it broke down - wagon and stone. It sit there for years. A few years ago, Carlo McCoy bought a monument at a sale. The seller had said that it was in an old broken down wagon. This is the same stone my uncle had told me about. It read: Marshall, Ellen - w/o Joseph*, died March 8, 1904, aged 66 years WPA Records have listed here: Marshall, Eli* - 1811 ~ January 12, 1827 Marshall, Infant - s/o J.S. and S.J., April 16, 1896 ~ April 17, 1896 NOTE: Joseph Marshall was the son of Hezekiah and Atha Neal Marshall.
