From Rt. 29 at Jakes Run, turn onto Memorial Road, go 1.3 miles.
Cemetery is on the hill to the left, in the woods.


McCord, James -  Co. H., 17th WVA INF., September 27, 1823 ~
   August 26, 1891

NOTE: There are other graves here, unmarked. One is probably James'
   wife, Mahala, daughter of Adam B. and Sarah Baldwin Tennant. She
   was born July 10, 1823 and died  April 4, 1903.
   James was the son of Robert and Sarah McCord. He and Mahala were
   married June 27, 1845. James died of heart disease.

	McCord, Alice Jane Emery- 1861-1895
Note:	Reason was the son of James and Mahala Tennant McCord
	Alice Jane Emery was Reason's first wife.  His second wife,
        Sarah Etta Clark, is in the Daybrook Cemetery.
