The two footstones that say: JGM and MM are for James G. and Mary Michael, parents of all the above children, except for John C., who was their grandson. According to the WPA records the headstones once said: Michael, James G. - October 15, 1812 ~ March 6, 1893 Michael, Mary - no dates Mary was still living when the 1880 census was taken, and her age is given as 65. Courthouse birth records give James Perry Michael's birth date as March 18, 1855. Courthouse birth records give Eliza as Eliza E., born June 19, 1857 Courthouse death records give John C. Michael's death as September 4, 1878, 3 days old He was the son of Jonathan and Sarah M.
