Shuman - Dorrah  Cemetery
Monongalia Co., WV


Directions:  On Rt. 17 at Miracle Run. It is 1.4 miles from the intersection
of Rt. 7 and Rt. 17 at Bula. On the side of the hill in a small grove of trees 
that are directly behind the railroad tracks. It's an old cemetery, is neglected 
and in very bad condition.

Gump, Clark L.* -  s/o B. and R.,  died January 7, 1861, 10 month and 19 days
Shuman, Hannah* -  d/o J. and D.,  died February 12, 1856,  10 year, 1 month and 13 days
Shuman, Henry C.* -  s/o J. and D.,  died November 24, 1862,  17 year, 2 month and 4 days
Shuman, Francis M.* -  s/o J. and D.,  died August 20, 1863,  5 year, 3 month and 24 days
Shuman, Mary Ann* -  d/o J. and D.,  died September 20, 1863,  9 year, 3 month and 24 days

NOTE:	Margaret Dorrah (Darrah) was the wife of Joseph and the daughter of Andrew and Mary Park 
	Clark L. Gump was the son of Benona and Rosina Darrah Gump.  He was born February 10, 
	1860.
	Hannah, Henry C., Francis M. and Mary Ann were the children of Jonathan and Dorcas 
	Shuman.
	Francis M. was born April 22, 1858 and Henry C. was born August 17, 1862.
	There are more graves here with rough stones for markers.
	Joseph and Margaret Dorrah had a son, Linsey, who died March 24, 1859, at age 21.  He may
	be here.
