Varner Cemetery Monongalia Co., WV Directions: Located off Days Run Road. It is 3.1 miles from the intersection of Rt. 7 at Pentress, and Rt. 25, the Days Run Road. There is a right of way through the lands of Faye Eddy, on the left, to the cemetery. Emaline was the mother of Bessie Stull Brummage, and the daughter of John Calvin and Sarah Jane Tennant Varner. The two Stull boys listed here may be the two sons. NOTE: William L. Connor was the son of Morgan and Mary Connor. Christena Connor was the daughter of William M. and Catherine Tennant Varner. Anna Pearl Eddy died of pneumonia. She and Henry Clay were the children of Richard S. and Mary A. Varner Eddy. These children were the grandchildren of William M. and Catherine Varner. Samantha J. Park's death record says she died November 2, 1885. She was the daughter of William M. and Catherine Varner, and the wife of L.A. Park. Mary Ruth Reeves was the daughter of Carl and Margaret Huff Reeves. Simon Shriver's death record says he died in 1919. Harry J. Tennant was the son of Wayne and Margarite Husk Tennant. Sula J. Tennant was the daughter of Lindsay and Catherine Varner and the wife of Wm. D. Tennant. Maggie B. Varner was born March 4, 1873. She died of tuberculosis. Enos Varner was the son of Jacob A. and Christena Haught Varner. Frances E. Varner was the daughter of Michael and Margaret Tennant. She died of paralysis. Varner children were the children of Gilbert T. and Arizona Tennant Varner. William M. Varner was the son of Jacob A. and Christena Haught Varner. His wife, Catherine, was a Tennant. Alva Varner was the son of Enos and Frances Tennant Varner. He died in a mine explosion at Everettsville on April 30, 1927. Alpherd Ross Varner was the son of Alva and Bertha A. Tennant Varner. Jacob A. Varner was the son Joseph and Margaret Tennant Varner. Christena Varner was the daughter of Jacob Henry and Mary Cannon Haught. John Calvin Varner was the son of Jacob A. and Christena Haught Varner. Rebecca, wife of Jacob L., was the daughter of William M. and Catherine Tennant Varner. Lindsey C. was the son of William M. and Catherine Tennant Varner. Margaret Jane Varner was the daughter of Jacob A. and Christena Haught Varner. She died of unknown causes. R.
