Examined - Delivered to receipt - 22 December 1841. 

John Rutherford Esquire Lieutenant Governor acting as
Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia: TO ALL TO
WHOME THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME -- GREETING: KNOW YE
That in conformity with a Survey made on the 15th day
of May 1840 by virtue of Land Office Treasury Warrant
No. 12778? there is granted by the said Commonwealth,
unto John Billingsley a certain Tract or Parcel of
Land, containing One hundred and twenty five acres
situate in Monongalia County on Pile's fork of
Buffaloe Creek and Drakes Run, adjoining lands
Surveyed for Isaac Lemasters & John Freeland:
Beginning at a white oak & lynn on the West side of
said Creek and corner to John Freeland and in a line
of said Lemasters and running with ..... of the said
Freelands lines N32°W 32 poles to a sugar tree N87°W
107 poles to a white oak N16°W 31 poles to a stake in
said line, thence, leaving the same S20°W 150 poles to
a white oak, S50°E 86 poles to a white oak S69°E 56
poles to a poplar corner to said Lemasters, and with
th... lines of the same N151/2E 110 poles to a white oak
N3°W 45 poles to a hickory N....E 40 poles to the
beginning with its appurtenances 
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the Tract or Parcel of Land, with
its appurtenances, to the said John Billingsley and
his heirs forever. 
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said John Rutherford Esquire
Lieutanent Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia,
hath hereunto set his Hand, and caused the Lesser Seal
of the said Commonwealth to be affixed, at Richmon, on
the thirtieth day of September in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and forty one and of the
Commonwealth the 66th
