Mrs. Sallie Boyd Dies Suddenly
	Stricken as she sat in a chair at her home on Stewart street about 8 
o’clock last night, Mrs. Sallie E. Boyd, 71, died almost instantly.

	Mrs. Boyd had been in ill health several weeks, but was thought to be 
improving until she was stricken.  A heart attack is believed to have caused 
death.

	She was a member of the VanGilder family and has many relatives in 
this section.  Members of the immediate family who survive are a daughter, 
Edna L. Boyd, and two sons, Carson P. Boyd and Carl V. Boyd, all of this city 
and others.

	Funeral announcements will be announced today.
