Obituary for Della Harker Briggs (b. May 15, 1875; d. March 15, 1932)

Della Harker Briggs died Mar 14, 1932 in Dellslow, WV. She was born May 15, 1875
near Hundred, W.Va., a daughter of Arnold H. Harker and Mary Jane Stewart.
Married May 10, 1895 to James Clark Briggs who died at Terra Alta, W.V. 15 years
ago. She taught school at Dellslow, 6 miles from Morgantown. Survivors include:
two daughters, Beatrice Wise of Rowlesburg; Pearl Marie Teels of Washington
D.C.; and her mother of New Martinsville. Two brothers, W. T. Harker of Pine
Grove and Curtis Harker of Clarksburg. One son, James Jr., preceded her in
death. Burial will be in Limestone M. E. Church Cemetery overlooking the farm
where her husband was born, where she was raised and married and where her
children were born.
