WV State Dept of Health, Div. of Vital Statistics, Certificate of Death, 
Mrs. Emma M GALL of 380 Elmhurst St, Morgantown, Monongalia County, died at 
the Kanawha Valley Hospital, Charleston, at age 74.  She was born Dec. 15, 
1896 (this, however, does not agree with Beaver Co, PA, Misc. Dockets, 
Registration of Births, 1893-1898, page 118: McKown, Emma Mary, female, white, 
father: William J. McKown, mother: Emma McKown; Residence: Rochester, 
occupation of father: laborer; born: Dec 15, 1895, place of birth: Byrow 
Alley, Rochester; date recorded: May 2?, 1896).  Emma was a widow at the time 
of her death (husband was Elam Dowden Gall whom she married in 1918, in Marion 
Co.).  Informant was her daughter Mary Martha (Gall) Thorne.  Emma was buried 
in the East Oak Grove cemetery, Morgantown.
