WV State Dept of Health, Div. of Vital Statistics, Certificate of Death, 
Elam Dowden GALL of 380 Elmhurst St, Morgantown, Monongalia County, died at 
the West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, at age 75.  He was born 
Jan. 13, 1895 in Phillipi, WV (confirmed by his WW2 draft registration card, 
available online at Ancestry.com).  He was married to Emma McKown.  Cause of 
death: myocartial infarction.  Occupation listed as coal operator.  Informant 
was his daughter Mary Martha (Gall) Thorne.  Elam was buried in the East Oak 
Grove cemetery, Morgantown.

Elam's parents were Elam Dowden Gall, Sr. and Effie Columbia Mattich (m 25 
April 1888 per marriage license, available from West Virginia Vital Research 
Records online).
