Between Andrew Wilson of the County of Montgomery and State of Virginia and Jane his wife of the one Part, and Samuel Pack Junr of the County of Monroe and State aforesaid of the other Part. Witnesseth that the said Andrew Wilson and Jane his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar lawful money paid by the said Samuel Pack Junr on or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the recipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. Hath bargained and sold and by the presents doth bargain and sell unto the said Samuel Pack Junr and his heirs a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in Monroe County on Brush Creek a branch of Rich Creek which was granted to the said Andrew Wilson by Patent bearing date the twenty ninth day of June in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven containing two hundred acres by survey bearing date the sixth day of June 1785-and is bounded as followeth (to wit). Beginning at two gum and red oak, corner to Hutchison (now Pack) and with his line North 8 degrees, West 105 poles to three white oaks, corner to the same and being the same, North 37 degrees, West 205 poles to three white oaks on Joshua's Ridge, South 53 degrees, West 80 poles to two white oaks and a black oak, South 30 degrees, West 118 poles to a walnut and red oak, South 67 degrees, East 285 poles to the Beginning. To have and to hold the said tract of two hundred acres, with all and every of its appertainances, to the only and proper use and behoof of the said Samuel Pack and his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Andrew Wilson and Jane his wife for themselves and their heirs doth covenant and agree with the said Samuel Pack Junr and his heirs, the aforementioned tract or parcel of land from themselves and their heirs and from the heirs claim or claims of any other person or persons whatsoever to the said Samuel Pack and heirs assigns, will warrant and forever defend by these presents-In Witness whereof the said Andrew Wilson and Jane his wife have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the date first above written. At a Court held for Monroe County the 18th day of June 1805, this Deed of Bargain and Sell from Andrew Wilson and Jane his wife to Samuel Pack Junr was acknowledged in Court by Andrew and Jane and the said Jane being first privately examined as the law directs, was ordered to be recorded.
