   This deed made this 24th day of December 1859 agreeable to a bargain and 
sale December the 24th 1859 between Lanty Graham and Sabina his wife of The
County of Monroe and State of Va. and Christopher Flint Jr. of the County 
and State aforesaid witnesseth that for and in consideration of three hundred
dollars the said Lanty Graham and Sabina his wife do Convenant and grant unto
the said Chrsiterfor Flint a certain tract of Land Containing 70 acres more 
of Less Lying in santafee Monroe County on Griffith's creek it being a part 
of the Tract on which the said Levi Alderson now Lives Containing 300 acres
which is a part of a survey of Twenty nine hundred and fifteen acres Granted
to Henry Banks by the Common welth of Va., & bounded as follows Viz, Begining
as a small beech near a fense thence S 64 1/2 E 65 poles down the Creek to a 
Sycamore S 59 E 15 poles to sugar tree S 41 W 21 poles to poplar S 65 W 32 
poles to iron wood and small ash S 10 W 36 poles to 2 small beeches S 52 
W 37 poles to poplar Corner to Rollyns and Reynolds and with the latter S 85
W 12 poles to Chestnut oak S 56 W 32 poles to white oak and Chestnut oak 
N 5 1/2 W 32 poles to two poplars Corner to Ellis and with same N 14 E 73 
poles to Chestnut oak N 4 E 62 poles to small sas safras on Creek Bank S 52
E 18 poles to Sycamore S 78 E 32 poles to ash N 18 E 4 1/2 poles to the 
Beginning and the said Lanty Graham and Sabina his wife do warrant Generally 
to the said Christopher Flint the a fore said tract of Land witness the 
signatures and seals January 9th 1860

Monroe County to wit
  I Jesse Jones a Justice of the peace for the county aforesiad in the state 
of Virginia do certify that Lanty Graham whose name is signed to the writing 
above bearing date on the 24th December 1859 has acknowledged the same before
me in my County aforesaid Given under my hand this 9th day of January 1860

Monroe county To Wit
  We Jesse Jones & George W. Swope Justices of the peace for the County 
aforesaid in the State of Virginia do Certify that Sabina Graham the wife
of Lanty Graham whose names are signed to the writing hereto annexed and 
bearing date on the 24th day of December 1859 personally appeared before
us in our County aforesaid and being examined by us privily and apart
from her husband and having the writing aforesaid fully explained to her.
She the said Sabina Graham acknowledged the said writing to be her act 
and declared she had willingly executed the same and does not wish to 
retract it Given under Our hands January 9th 1860

   This Deed from Lanty Graham & wife to Christopher Flint Jr. having
been acknowledged before two Justices was presented in this office and 
is admitted to be recorded     Teste
