Wickline To: Margaret V. Eggleston This Deed made the fifth day of December in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three between A.L. Wickline and Amanda E. Wickline, his wife, of the first part and Margaret Virginia Eggleston of the second part, all of the County of Monroe and State of West Virginia. Witnesseth, that for an in consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars cash in hand paid by the party of the second part and other good and sufficient consideration the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by the party of the first part, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, all of that piece or parcel of land situated in the County of Monroe and State of West Virginia about four miles southwest of Sweet Springs, situated on the north side of Peters Mountain adjoining the land of the said A.L. Wickline, John E. Wickline and others and is bounded as follows: Beginning at a chest oak S. 61 W. 65 poles thence south 17 E. 108 poles to outside line with same North 61 E. 30 poles to two ash corner thence N.2 W. 121 poles to the Beginning, supposed to contain 34 acres and 114 poles, also about eight acres lying above the 32 acres and above the Clemens tract on the county land Beginning at three chest oak on side of the mountain N. 73 E. 58 poles to a bunch of lynns in a hollow corner to same and leaving S. 12 W. 16 poles to a bunch of lynns in a hollow thence S. 73 W. opposite the county line 16 poles to the three chestnut oaks corner to the county land. Making in all about or near 41 acres be the same more or less. Together with the appurtenances thereto belong with general warranty to have and to hold forever the premises above bargained and described and hereby conveyed to the party of the second part.
