Death of Mahala Pyne...
Monroe Watchman, Thursday  Dec 27th, 1900    

Mrs. Mahala Pyne died on Wed, Dec 26, 1900 at the home of her
son, Mr. Jacob W. Pyne near Fullen in this county, age about 82.
She was the wife of Mr. M. M. Pyne and is survived by her
husband & several children, among them Messrs. John W.,
Jacob W. & J. Alexander Pyne. Mrs. Pyne was an exemplary
woman, loved and honored for the incomparable virtue of the
good wife and mother. Her funeral will take place today, Rev O.
F. Burgess officiating
