We, Matt Pack and Samuel Pack Senr, acknowledge asserting 
indebted(?) to H Cabell, Governor of Virginia, and his successors, 
the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars with this condition that 
there is no legal cause to obstruct a marriage intended to be 
solemnized between the said Matt Pack and Katey Liley.  Witness 
our hands and seals this 5th day of September 1806.
