Will of Knotliff Talor, 1806 - Monroe Co. WV In the name of God amen September 28, 1806 I Knotliff Talor of the county of Monrow and colony of Virginia (upon being in perfect mind) prais to God forth. Do make this my last will and testament as followeth; after my just debts are paid- I give and bequeath unto Susanah my well beloved wife all my goods and chatel during her natural life; and likewise my son James Talor for taking care of his mother while life continues is to have the land and the bay mare and the rifle gun; and my daughter Mary Talor to have red heffer two years old. I bequeath to my daughter Rachel Talor one cow and feather bed; I bequeath unto Margaret Talor one cow; I bequeath unto Sarrah my youngest daughter one cow. I also constitute and ordain Susanah Talor my beloved wife and John Ray to be the sole executors of this my last will and testament. In witness there- of I have set unto my hand and seal; this 28rd day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and six.
