Bohrer and his family by the hand of George A. Michael, husband of Alice Virginia Bohrer Michael. The death of Grandmaw that is described in the letter refers to Eliza Jane Hovermale Bohrer, who died October 31, 1917. She was the mother of Alice Virginia, Sarah Ellen, and Charles. Charles and his family were probably living in Clarinda, Iowa at the time of this letter. Sarr in this letter refers to Sara Ellen Bohrer.
