PA, Flying Camp, born 1758 and his wife, Nancy Hughes John Campbell's DAR# is: 409635 for relatives that wish to join the Daughters of the American Revolution Thomas Hughes, Pvt. VA, Capt. Smith's Augusta Militia, and wife Elizabeth Foster. Thomas Hughes DAR# is: 319593 John Hamilton, Col. Morgan's 11th VA Regiment of Foot, and wife Rebecca Lafferty. These pioneers were instrumental in establishing Nicholas County in April of 1818 in John Hamilton's home. Several relatives and friends are also buried in this old cemetery.
