COX MEMORIAL CEMETARY, Nicholas Co., WV Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives October 25, 2003 by Anita Hill-Racer POLEMIC RUN ROAD The following lists were made 27 September 2003. I have them in alphabetical order by last name and first name of person farthest to the left by type of marker. There are three triple markers and the rest are doubles and singles. I included all information available from marker(s) that would have been of some consequence for a family tree researcher not simple statements regarding any personal preferences. For example, if it read our father and mother a researcher would know that more than likely these parents had more than one child but would not have included a statement such as “Going Home”. Also, please note that some persons already have their spots reserved and already have markers in place. If I positively have that information, it is included. A number of the persons interred are family members and family friends. I have also added some additional notes which are marked with astericks. Everything else is from the cemetery. Entrance to the cemetery has a large marker that reads as follows: In Memory of William B and Fanny Pinnell Cox And children: Joel E, Matilda M, James, John, Maria, Elizabeth, Frances A, Margaret D, Jesse P, Thomas M, William Henry, George A TRIPLE MARKERS Barnette Nora Lawrence Emzy 1902- 1887- 1893- 1970 1968 1919 Hoover-Kelly Husband Wife Husband Bert Gladys Otis 1900-1930 1910-1989 1910-1973 Married 20 Mar 1927 Married 3 Jun 1936 Waggoner-Whytsell Father Mother Father Drexel M Waggoner Belva Agnes Tinney Waggoner Whytsell Harley C Whytsell 1889-1927 1895-1968 1904-1986 DOUBLE MARKERS Ashley B.
