Ohio County Deed Book 136 p. 387-388 Mary R. COLVIN et al to C. Earl RICHARDSON et al This Deed, made the 13th day of January, in the year nineteen Hundred and Eleven, between Mary R. COLVIN (a widow), Ida B. RICHARDSON, (Unmarried), Frank ECHOLS and Jennie ECHOLS, his wife, all of Ohio county, West Virginia, Valentine G. ECHOLS and Hattie ECHOLS, his wife, of the City of Moundsville, Marshall County, West Virginia, George N. RICHARDSON and Margaret RICHARDSON, his wife, and Nettie E. RAY and Edward G. RAY, her husband, of the City of Long Beach and State of California, and George J. ROGERS, Trustee under the will of John GIBSON, deceased, also of said Ohio County, West Virginia, parties of the first part, and C. Earl RICHARDSON and Samuel J. RICHARDSON, both of said Ohio County, West Virginia, parties of the second part; Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars and Other valuable considerations, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said parties of the first part do grant unto the said parties of the second part all the following described property, that is to say:- All the right, title, interest, claim and demand of said parties of the first part, both at law and in equity, in and to all that certain tract of land described as follows: - All that certain tract of land situate in Liberty District, Ohio County, West Virginia, bounded and described as follows: - Beginning at a lime stone where a poplar formerly stood in a line of lands known as lands of Bell heirs, and corner to lands of John P. Cox, thence with lands of said Cox, S. 85 deg. E. 90.66 poles to a stake in a stone pile, corner to lands of M.M. Frazier and J.P. Cox; thence with lands of said J.P. Cox and lands of John Wherry N. 12 deg. E. 63.03 poles to a stake at the foot of a small point; thence with lands of said Wherry N. 1 deg. 30' W. 18.18 poles to a stake in a run; thence with lands of Charles W. Settell N. 67 deg. W. 17.64 poles to a stake; thence with same N. 34 deg. 15' W. 60.6 poles to a stake in the line of lands of Elza Bowman; thence with lands of said Bowman S. 63 deg. 30' W. 67.6 poles to a stone where a black oak formerly stood; thence with lands of said Bell heirs S. 4 deg. 30' E. 98.8 poles to the place of beginning, containing seventy and seventy-nine hundredths (70.79) Acres as per survey of Alonzo P. Carney, Civil Engineer, made the 20th day of February 1906. Excepting and reserving from the property aforesaid all the coal of the Pittsburg or River vein together with the coal and mining rights conveyed by Margaret Gibson, Executrix and devisee under the will of John Gibson, Deceased, to E. L. Denny, by a deed dated April 11, 1906, and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Court of said Ohio County in Deed Book 121, page 513. The said Mary R. Colvin, Ida B. Richardson, Frank Echols, Valentine G. Echols, Nettie E. Ray, George N. Richardson, E. Earl Richardson and Samuel J. Richardson, being all the grand-children of Margaret Gibson, widow of John Gibson, deceased, who were living at the death of said Margaret Gibson, and all said grand-children are now of full age of twenty-one years; said George J. Rogers, Trustee, in the place of Dr. John T. Carter, resigned, under Item Third of the will of said John Gibson, deceased, which was dated February 24, 1885, and recorded in Will Book 7, page 401, in said Clerk's Office, joins herein for the purpose of conveying the property aforesaid, which is all the reminder of the Estate of John Gibson left at the death of his wife, Margaret Gibson, among the grand-children above named, share and share alike. Said Mary R. Colvin, Ida B. Richardson, Frank Echols, Valentine G. Echols, George N. Richardson and Nettie E. Ray and Edward G. Ray, her husband, hereby convenant with the said parties of the second part that they will warrant generally the property hereby conveyed, and the said George J. Rogers, Trustee, hereby convenants with the said parties of the second part that he will warrant specially the property hereby conveyed. Witness the following signatures and seals. Mary R.
