Mendel March 19, 1889 E ½ lot no. 2/sq. 21 This deed made this nineteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine between ME. Wiley widow of Joshua C. Wiley late of Ohio County in the State of West Virginia now deceased, Louisa C. Wiley, Addie M. Wiley of Mansfield Richland County in the State of Ohio Sarah J. Wheat wife of J.J. Wheat with the said J.J. Wheat her husband of Indianapolis in the State of Indiana, Mary E. Skinner of Sardis Monroe County, in the State of Ohio, Catherine Wiley of Xenia, Greene County in the State of Ohio, C.A. Wiley and Etta his wife of Chicago in the State of Illinois and Julia M. Wiley of Wheeling, Ohio County West Virginia the sole heirs at law of the said Joshua C. Wiley deceased parties of the first part and Sarah M. Mendel of Wheeling Ohio County, West Virginia part of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for in consideration of the sum of fifty dollars to them in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged do grant and convey unto the said party of the second part as a quit claim without warranty any and all right title they have or may be entitled to have in and to the western five feet in front on the north line of twelfth street and extending back of a uniform width with said front one hundred and thirty two feet of the west one half of he lot numbered two in the Square numbered twenty one (E ½ of lot no. 2 in sq. no. 21) in that part of the city of Wheeling in the county of Ohio and State of West Virginia laid off by Noah Zane as an addition to the town of Wheeling north of Twelfth Street and east of Eoff Street in the said city of Wheeling. The intention of the parties of the first part thereto being to convey to said second party all the ground conveyed to the said Joshua C. Wiley in his lifetime by Jefferson Sangston and wife by deed dated the 14thd day of August 1851 and recorded in the clerks office of the county court of said Ohio County in Deed Book no. 35 page 523. Subject however to all rights either public or private which may have been acquired in any of said land by any other person or persons since the date of said last named deed and not warranting as to any other rights except only as to such as may have descended and same to us as heirs at law and distributees of said Joshua C.
