 Presbyterian banner. (Pittsburgh, Pa.) December 23, 1863
Died November 12th, 1863, in Ohio County, West Virginia, Mrs. Hannah Brown, in the
81st year of hr age. The disease of which she died was typhoid fever, contracted in
waiting around the couch of her son, Mr. Josiah Brown. A few days before his death,
she returned to her home with symptoms of the disease, and in one month and two days
she followed him to the narrow house. Mrs. Brown had been for many years a
consistent, humble, prayerful follower of Christ, and a much loved member of the
church of Forks of Wheeling…
