I Andrew White of Ohio County, State of Virginia, being now weak in body, but of perfect mind and memory, and known that it is appointed for all men once to die, Make this my last will and Testament. and first of all, I willingly bequeath my soul to God who gave me the same, in hopes of a glorious Resurrection, and for Salvation, is and through the merrits of my Lord and Saviour Jessus Christ, my only Lord and Savour. And as Concerning what worldly Estate it has pleased God to bestow on me. I do bequeath it in the manner and form following. first, I order my body to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner - at the care of my Executors, and after my decease, I order with all convenient speed, that my lawfull debts and funeral charges be paid. Secondly, after my just debts are paid off I order, that remainder of my estate be divided betwixt my beloved Children in such sort, viz. first, As my Son Solomon White has received his part of Land, And has a lawful deed. I leave him, one Dollar. Secondly, I bequeathe to my Son John White's three Children, viz. Ebenezer, Isaac & Elizabeth W White or the longest liver of the two brothers and sister, When they arrive at the age of twenty one, and if they should all die, before they come to the age of twenty one, the land shall fall back to the home tract, and late the possession of James White, - a Certain tract or parcel of land, lying and situate at the East corner and joining lands with Henry Sell and Roberts McCoy. bounding on the North by the road leading to John Peay's mill - and the mother of the three Children is not to have neither lot nor part. - Thirdly, I bequeath my two beloved daughters Mary and Elizabeth, and their heirs forever, one hundred acres of Land betwixt them, and joining lands with Solomon White, and --- Beall, and Ebenezer McKinley-Fourthly. I bequeath to my Grand daughters Sarah Howel my bed and covering. Fifthly, I bequeath to my Son James White, the remainder of my lands, it being my home place with building improvements and all real personal property. And I constitute and appoint my Son James White and David Yates to be my Executors of this my last Will and testament. and I do hereby revoke and disassull all other wills and testaments formerly made by me, and allow this only my last will and testament. The last Will and testament of Andrew White, Decd. was this day presented in Court, and partly proved by the oath of John Loff Jr., a subscribing witness thereto, and ordered to be Continued for further proof. And at a COurt held as aforesaid, on the sixth day of May in the year 1833, the said will was presented in Court, and fully proved by the oath of Martin L Todd, another Subscribing witness thereto, and ordered to be recorded.
