adjoining Sebastian Hoover, Christopher Eye, and Laurence Hoover, Patented as 
an inclusive survey to William Ward, 1 January 1800, Ward conveyed to James 
Botkin, who conveyed to Lowther, includes: 160 acres, patented to Ward, 1 
March 1781, 35 acres patented 1 March 1781, Residue, taken up under treasury 
warrants, Consideration: £202, VA. Signed: Uh Lowther, Catharine Lowther, 
Witnesses: none, Acknowledged in court by both, 4 December 1804, No delivery 
shown, Recorded: 4:124-125. Note: This property was later sold to Jacob 
Bushong.
