 Peter N. Daniel, Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia:
        To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting : Know Ye, 
That in conformity with a survey made on the sixteenth day of May, 1818, 
by Virtue of Land Office Treasury Warrant No.6050 issued the 20th day of 
October 1817,there is granted by the Commonwealth, unto Amos Tharp
a certain Tract or Parcel of Land containing thirteen acres, situate in the
County of Pendleton on the Bullpasture Mountain at the Cold Spring and
bounded as followeth, to wit;
        Beginning at a white oak and hickory on the south side of a hill, 
north two degrees west thirty two poles crossing a hollow to a chestnut oak 
on a hillside; north forty three degrees west fifty nine poles to a red oak 
on a hillside; south sixty nine degrees west thirty eight poles crossing a
a hollow to a chestnut oak on a hillside and thence south fifty two degrees
east one hundred poles to the beginning.
      To have to hold the said Tract or Parcel of land with its appurtenances, 
to the said Amos Tharp and his heirs forever.
      In witness whereof; the said Peter N. Daniel, Esquire, Governor of the 
Commonwealth of Virginia, hath hereunto set his hand and caused the Lesser 
Seal of the Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond, on the first day of 
June in the year of Our Lord One Thousand EightHundred and nineteen
