He raised a large family in Fraziers Bottom and owned quite a bit of property at the time of his will in 1857. Allen committed suicide down on the bank of the Kanawha River. The story goes that he waited until his children were mostly grown, set up a guardian for his youngest child, and killed himself. The graves of these Fraziers are covered with limestone crypt covers. The engraving has worn away through time. A marker has been added for Allen and his wife Hannah McCallister at a later time by family members. The cemetery is off Hurricane Creek Road in Fraziers Bottom, just off the road in the woods. The graves of Samuel and Ann Frazier has never been located. Allen's brother, William Frazier, is buried in the Frazier's Family Cemetery I (Buffalo Bridge) along with his wife and 2 of his son's family, located about 3/8 miles west of the Buffalo bridge. Brother Samuel Frazier, is buried in the Frazier Cemetery located behind the Memory Lane Antique Shop off old Rt. 35 (now Rt. 817). His other brother, Robert Frazier, grave have not been located. Approximately 225 feet west of new Rt. 35 on the south side of Hurricane Creek Road, down a dirt road (w/ gate) to a gas well. About 200 feet down dirt road on right in trees.
