Born Nov. 12, 1969, in Bamberg, Germany, she was the daughter of Marvin Leroy and Margaret E. ³Penny² Raines Ferrell of Orgas. She was a 1988 graduate of Sherman High School and a member of White Oak Freewill Baptist Church, Orgas. She was employed in the laboratory at Memorial Division, Charleston Area Medical Center, and was a former employee of Physicians Health Group, Charleston. She attended Marshall University. Other survivors include her husband, Charles E. Adkins; a son, Matthew Craig Thomas of Orgas; a stepson, Christopher Kyle Adkins of Pineville; two sisters, Krista S. and Amber D. Ferrell, both of Orgas; a brother, Mark Lee Ferrell of Orgas; and several aunts and uncles. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Armstrong Funeral Home Chapel, Whitesville, with the Revs. David Cook and Ronnie Santonio officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas. Ada Marie England MULLENS ‹ Ada Marie England, 73, died Thursday, April 8, 1999, in a Beckley hospital following a short illness. Born April 2, 1926, at Allen Creek, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Vinn Shaw Smith. Mrs. England was a 40-year resident of Mullens and a member of Lego Church of Jesus. She was also a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. England; two daughters; and a son. Survivors include eight daughters, Venus and her husband, J. C. Gibson, of Big Creek, Ky., Brenda Justice of Crab Orchard, Shelby Blevins of Philadelphia, Judy of Manchester, Ky., Cathy McGraw of Beckley, Drema Scroch of Madison, Nancy and her husband, Timothy Tate, of Mullens and Teresa and her husband, David England, of Mullens; six sons, Gene Blevins and his wife, Sandra, of Sophia, James Blevins and his wife, Donna, of Sophia, Jerry and his wife, Sandra, of Oceana, Terry England and his wife, Bonnie, of Rhodell, Larry Blevins and his wife, Vanessa, of Meade and James Ray England and his wife, Tara, of Indian Creek; two sisters, Ruby White of Springfield, Ill., and Martha Springer of Canton, Ohio; 32 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Born Jan. 27, 1914, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James and Ida Janney Martin. Mrs. Foster was a homemaker and a member of Scarbro Baptist Church. She was also a graduate of Oak Hill High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Foster; a daughter, Judy Foster Morgan; and a son James M. Foster. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette Winebrenner of Scarbro; a son, David Foster and his wife, Tammy, of Scarbro; eight grandchildren, Scott, Elisha and Josh Winebrenner, Robin Toombs, Julie Lewis, Kimberly Elrod, Joan Barton and Tommy Morgan; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Alfred Foster Jr. and his wife, Velma. Galloway, 71, formerly of Beckley, died Monday, April 5, 1999, at her daughters¹ home following a long illness. Born May 4, 1927, in Raleigh, she was the daughter of the late James and Mable Arella Belle Davis. Mrs. Galloway was a retired dietitian for the Board of Education at Piney Oaks Elementary School and a member of St. Paul Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Galloway, in 1990; and a son, Carlos Lee Austin, in 1993. Born March 15, 1917, at Pipestem, he was the son of the late Oran Homer and Carrie V. Farley Keaton. Mr. Keaton was a former employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways, a former contract mail carrier, a retired bus driver from the Summers County Board of Education and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Burk Keaton; and two sisters, Margaret Helen Keaton and Bernice Phillips. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Opal Geneva Keaton; a son, Harold L. Born Jan. 15, 1965, in Clifton Forge, Va., she was the daughter of Frederick L. Parker of Greenville and the late Judith Houchins Parker. She was a lifelong resident of Monroe County, director of the Monroe County Head Start and preschool programs for the Board of Education and girls¹ basketball and softball coach for the former Red Devils at Union High School and for the Mavericks at James Monroe High School. Mrs. Mustain was also a lifelong member of Greenville United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, John F. Mustain; a son, John F. Mustain II of Union; five daughters, Judith Ann, Leah Marie, Clara Lyn, Amy Elizabeth and Megan Beth Mustain, all of Union; her stepmother, Christine Best Parker of Greenville; two brothers, Dr. Jeff Parker of Hurricane and Robert Parker of Greenville; a sister, Jill Preston of Wolf Creek; and a host of other relatives and friends. Born March 27, 1906, in Covington, Va., she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Garland Grant. Mrs. Reed was a member of St. John Baptist Church of Raleigh for over 50 years and was a member of the Senior Choir, Mission Circle, Deaconess Board and New Era Music Convention. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Haskin; her second husband, Ray J. Reed; three sons, William Haskin Jr., Walter Haskin and Luke Haskin; and five sisters, Allie Powell, Rebecca Pearson, Carrie Bell Boxley, Lizzie Patterson and Nellie Peters. Survivors include a son, Jesse Haskin and his wife, Florence, of Akron, Ohio; a daughter, Vertie Easley of Raleigh; a sister-in-law, Mamie Mack of Harlem Heights; three daughters-in-law, Nannie Haskin and Florence Haskin, both of Cleveland, and Cleona Haskin of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 21 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
