Born Nov. 4, 1928, in Lawton, he was a son of the late Frank Palmer and Matilda Harmon Burnett. Mr. Burnett was a retired body technician, a member of Maple Fork Baptist Church and worked for Lewis Chevrolet for 38 years. He was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Rondell Burnett. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Melba Lilly Burnett; two sons, Michael Paul Burnett and his wife, Melissa, and John Anthony Burnett, all of Bradley; two daughters, Patricia Moore and her husband, James, of Bradley and Kay Riser and her husband, Richard, of Oak Hill; four grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Christopher and Ann; three brothers, Raymond Burnett of Florida, Ray Burnett of Virginia and Bob Burnett of Oak Hill; two sisters, Garnett Holiday of Bradley and Eula Tread of Virginia; and two best friends, Mack and Dorothy Ellison of Maple Fork. Born March 2, 1926, in Mabscott, she was a daughter of the late Boone Burke and Cora Estaline Rickman Brammer. Mrs. Floyd was retired from Raleigh General Hospital. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Bernard, Denzil, Ronald, James and Thomas Brammer; two sons, James Jr. and Danny Lee Floyd; and a sister, Evelyn Butler. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, James D. Floyd; two sons, Larry Floyd of Bradley and Terry Floyd of Beckley; two daughters, Nancy Floyd Holmes and her husband, Bob, of Princeton and Ellen Floyd Holliday and her husband, Bob, of Bradley; two brothers, Robert Brammer of Lewisburg and Harold Brammer of Ronceverte; three sisters, Goldie Brammer, Madeline Brammer and Bessie Gravely, all of Beckley; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Hayden, 69, formerly of Beckley, died 10:35 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at Ocala Regional Hospital, Ocala, Fla., following a long illness. Born Feb. 26, 1930, in Harlan, Ky., he was the son of Kathleen Lewis Hayden Slusher of Russell Springs, Ky., and the late Jeff Hayden. Mr. Hayden was a retired coal miner, a member of the UMWA, a U.S. Army veteran and of the Church of God faith. He had made his home in Florida for the past 25 years, having lived most of his adult life in Beckley. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Jean Salyers Hayden; three sons, Randall Hayden and his wife, Karen, Owen A. Hayden Jr. and his wife, Patty, and Steve Hayden and his wife, Rhonda, all of Ocala; a sister, the Rev. Dorothy Osborne of Mount Hope; a half brother, Bobby Sizemore of Ohio; a half sister, Louise Rosian of Russell Springs; eight grandchildren; an aunt who reared him, Emma Gastiniau of Russell Springs; and two additional aunts, Margaret Keane and Elsie Pauley, both of Russell Springs. Born July 12, 1918, in Hamlin, she was the daughter of the late James and Lucy Harmon. Mrs. Hughart was a homemaker and a cook for the school systems. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Elmer Hughart Sr. Survivors include a son, David Hughart of Fairfax; and two grandsons, Peter and John Lee Hughart. Lusk, 65, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at his residence following a short illness. Born May 9, 1934, in Cyclone, he was a son of the late Drewey and Lundy Cook Lusk. Mr. Lusk was a lifelong resident of Wyoming County. He worked 32 years for Eastern Associated Coal at Kopperston, where he was a member of Local Union 7604. He was a member of Oceana United Methodist Church, where he served on the finance committee and sang in the church choir. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Cornelius Lusk and Oakey and Helen Cook, and a brother, Larry Lusk. Keaton Morrow, 105, of Beaver, died at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Raleigh Rehabilitation Center, Daniels, following a long illness. Born Aug. 24, 1894, at Ellison Ridge, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Green and Lucinda Lilly Wills. Mrs. Morrow was blessed to have lived during three centuries. She served as a nurse in the Women's Army Corps during World War II. At the time of her retirement, she was a head nurse on one of the floors at Pinecrest Hospital in Beckley and was the oldest living graduate at Beckley College, now the College of West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lockie E. Morrow; and a daughter, Rosella Garrett. Survivors include a son, Robert J. Keaton and his wife, Veronica, of Beckley; four granddaughters, Patricia Ann Shea and her husband, Dan, of Boulder, Colo., Dr. Barbara Carol Keaton of Bridgeville, Pa., Dr. Nancy L. Mr. Reed was a retired self-employed carpenter, having worked in Greenbrier, Summers and Monroe counties and retiring after 50 years of service. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Creamery, and attended Grace Bible Church, Asbury. He was a former member of Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, Alderson, where he was a member of the United Methodist Men and served as lay speaker. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Faye Smith Reed; his second wife, Frances Follin Reed; a son, Rodney Paul Reed; a daughter, Phyllis Ann Qualls; a brother, Raymond Reed; three sisters, Dollie Meutzel, Helen Groseclose and Nellie Jimmerfield; three grandchildren, Debra Qualls, Bedford Baker Jr. and Cynthia Hall; and a stepson, Jennings M. Richmond.
