Born April 25, 1916, at Kilsyth, he was the son of the late James Britt and Maymie Brown Helton. Mr. Helton was retired from the Fayette County assessorıs office and was a former employee of New River Coal Co. He was a member of Mount Hope Christian Church, where he had served as a deacon and elder, was Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher for 45 years, member of the Pulpit Committee and a member of the church board for 55 years. Mr. Helton was a staff sergeant for three years with the West Virginia National Guard, graduated from Mount Hope High School and Bowling Green (Ky.) University. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannie Helton; a great-grandson, Little Victor Helton; and a brother, J.B. Helton Jr. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Eva A. Perry Helton; a son, Jennings Victor "Vic" Helton Jr. and his wife, Virginia, of Bradley; four grandchildren, Lynnette Helton Maynor, Alan Helton, Brian Helton and Suzanne Helton Emerson; four great-grandchildren, Matthew Helton, Jared Helton, Angela Helton and Jonathan Maynor; and two sisters, Josephine Sink of Mount Hope and Jeanette Roberson of Tallahassee, Fla. Craigo Bibb "Billie" Holliday, 88, died Monday, May 17, 1999, in Fayetteville following a short illness. Born March 14, 1911, at Cannelton, she was the daughter of the late Icem Levi and Louisa Ann Lanham Craigo. Mrs. Holliday was a homemaker and a member of Fayetteville United Methodist Church and a member and the past president of Fayetteville United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred C. Bibb on Oct. 29, 1957; her second husband, John L. Holliday on May 25, 1989; a son, Alfred Cary Bibb Jr. on April 17, 1949; three brothers, Warren, Otto and Romie Craigo; and three sisters, Gertrude Fauber, Louvina Nickoson and Elizabeth Shorter. Kiblinger MOORESVILLE, N.C. - Don Karrol Kiblinger, 65, died Moniday, May 17, 1999, in Rowan County. Born March 16, 1934, at Spanishburg, he was the son of the late Lois Walker and Price Kiblinger. Mr. Kiblinger was a construction superintendent of Ashland Construction Co. in Raleigh for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Mark Kiblinger on July 19, 1993. Born Jan. 22, 1927, at Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Robert Stone and Rena Belle Mullins Stone Tolliver. Mrs. Meadows was a 13-year resident of Mullens, being formerly of Black Eagle. She was a clerk at Collins Store, Mullens, with 12 years of service, and was an active member of Mullens Wesleyan Church, where she served as secretary. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Stone; a sister, Alice Mae Houck; and a great-granddaughter, Rebekah Meadows. He was a U.S. Army veteran and attended World Wide Church of God, Summersville. He was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Roy Sims and Doris Sims; a brother, Rod Sims; and two sisters, Maybelle Hunter and Freda Armstrong.
