Born May 31, 1952, in Savannah, Ga., he was the son of the late Luther E. Bell and Pauline Worrell Bell of Daniels. Mr. Bell was a maintenance supervisor and electrician at Liberty Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah June Bell. Survivors include his wife, Melaine McKinnon Bell; two sons, Aaron and Mason Bell of Allenhurst; maternal grandmother, Madeline Worrell of Daniels; and two brothers, Luther E. Bell Jr. of Beckley and Dennis E. Bell of Daniels. Born in Raleigh County, she was the daughter of the late Lillie Mae Willey and George Maxey. Mrs. Cochran was a homemaker and a resident of True for nearly 10 years, having lived most of her life at Princewick. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Lilly; five sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include her husband of more than 60 years, Thomas J. Cochran; two sons, Carl Keith Cochran and his wife, Judy, of Forestville, Md., Gary Thomas Cochran and his wife, Jean, of Vinton, Va.; a daughter, Linda Ricketts and her husband, Floyd, of Kingsport, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Bates Hairston, 67, of Raleigh, died at 9:48 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at Charleston Area Medical Center following a short illness. Born July 16, 1932, in Raleigh, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Allie Rogers Bates. Mrs. Hairston was a retired school teacher, having taught at Beards Fork and Glen Jean. She was a member of Faith Chapel A.M.E. Church, Raleigh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Hairston, on Feb. 11, 1994; two sisters, Minnie Temple and Maurice Proctor; and two brothers, Ernest Bates and Dan Bates Jr. Survivors include a daughter, Jewell M. Bates of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Charles Bates of Paterson, N.J.; three sisters, Alberta Miller, Ruby Bates and Lucille Smith, all of New York; two grandsons, Maceo Bates and his wife, Rhonda, and Wesley Bates, all of Columbus; four great-grandchildren, Neshel, Aaron, Adair and Jermayne; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jones, 80, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999. Born Sept. 25, 1919, in Hemphill, the was the son of the late King C. Jones and Annie Slaughter Jones. Mr. Jones retired as a foreman at Walker Machine Foundry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sheffy Jones; a son, James W. Davis; and a daughter, Brenda Lee Davis. Survivors include five sons, Ronnie Jenkins and his wife, Amanda, Edward L. Jenkins and his wife, Thelma, Walter L. Davis, Lloyd R. Davis and his wife, Deborah, all of Roanoke, and Owaiin M. Jones and his wife, Joy, of Fredricksburg, Va.; a daughter, Irene E. Williams of Roanoke; a sister, Inez Jones of Beckley; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Born March 18, 1911, in Paintsville, Ky., he was a son of the late Phillip and Bertha Cyrus Ladoucer. Mr. Ladoucer was a retired coal miner and a member of UMWA District 17, and a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis and Clarence Ladoucer; and five sisters, Edna Christman, Roberta Bushong, Wanda Ladoucer, June Tidwell and Mildred Simmons. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Pugh Ladoucer; a son, Raymond Ladoucer and his wife, Brenda, of Princeton; three daughters, Alfreda Flanagan of Hinton, Ellen M. Murphy Co., Stone & Thomas and McDonald's at Beaver. She was a 40-year resident of Blue Jay and attended Wesleyan Chapel, Beckley Church of the Nazarene and Daniels Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Horton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Les Mildenhall. Mr. Mullins was retired from Ford Motor Co.'s Wixom Plant and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War stationed in Germany. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Roberta Mullins; and three brothers, Glen, Earl and Roy Mullins. Survivors include his wife, Pearl M. Mullins; a son, Randy Mullins of Glen Morgan; a sister, Beatrus Gibson of Hamilton, Ohio; a sister, Mabel Whisrant of Detroit; and a brother, Willard Mullins of Detroit. Mr. Sizemore was a retired school teacher, working for the Wyoming County Board of Education. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Hinton. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Jo Toler Sizemore; a daughter, Donna Tyree and her husband, Mason, of Waxhaw, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Myra Hogan of Northfield, Mass.; a stepson, Joseph Hogan of Los Angeles; a sister, Ellen B.
