Born March 8, 1925, in Dott, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Susie Jane Billings Scott. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Mills; her second husband, Harry Barlow; and three brothers, Dale, Jimmy and Leonard Scott. Survivors include a son, Roger Mills and his wife, Patty, of Itmann; four grandsons, Roger Mills Jr. and his companion, Jackie, of Chapel Hill, N.C., Gregory Mills and his wife, Dawn, of Mullens and Dewey Mills and his wife, Rebecca, and James Mills and his wife, Angela, all of Itmann; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Scott and his wife, Freda, of Lashmeet and Gene A. Scott and his wife, Mary Jane, of Lake Bottom; and three sisters, Opal Sparks and her husband, Elmer, of Matoaka, June Ervin and her husband, Charles, of Itmann and Betty Walker of Princeton. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home, Princeton, with Pastor Chalmer Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Bluewell. Dillion, 88, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, in a Fairlea hospital. Born July 29, 1911, in Summers County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Elmira Fleshman Smith. She was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bud" Dillion; a daughter, Sarah Meador; four brothers, Frank, Weldon, Wilbur and Theodore Smith; four sisters, Sylvia Thomas, Ella Terry, Mae Newman and Odessa Broyles; and a grandson, Lloyd Meador. Survivors include two sons, Jim Meador and Donald Meador; three granddaughters, Sue Ellen Bates of Bluefield, Va., Wilma Lee Carr of Lindside and Jeannie Lynn Meador of Greenville; and a great-granddaughter, Angela Dawn Carr. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Broyles Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Burchette officiating. Linda Louise Kehm RAINELLE ­ Linda Louise Kehm, 57, of Flint, Mich., died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, in Meadow Bridge following a short illness. Born May 7, 1942, in Spring Dale, she was the daughter of Estelle Ford Patterson and the late Lacy Patterson. She was retired from the production department of General Motors Corp., Flint, Mich. She was of the Baptist faith. Other survivors include her companion, Darwin Howell of Flint; a daughter, Susan Louise Kehm of Flint; a precious granddaughter, Bernadette Linda Kehm of Flint; a brother, Brian Patterson of Chicago, Ill.; five sisters, June Butler of Meadow Bridge, Sue Patterson Gause of Carolina Beach, N.C., Charlotte Fowler of Flint, Eva McGee of Wilmington, N.C., and Darlene Patterson-Pratt of Cary, N.C.; and special friends, Mary Lou, Lorraine and Nancy. Millard Paul Taylor Millard Paul Taylor, 80, of Arnett, died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, in Charleston Area Medical Center, Memorial Division, after suffering a heart attack. Born Aug. 9, 1919, near Clinton, Tenn., he was the son of the late Rev. Homer Robinson and Berdie May Severs Taylor, formerly of Princeton. Mr. Taylor was a member of Flat Branch Baptist Church, a former coal miner and a lifelong resident of Raleigh County who loved to play and sing gospel music. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Eulice Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Mary Bell Cook Taylor; four daughters, Shirley Murdock and Nancy Ely, both of Beckley, and Tammy Bradford and Anita Lemon, both of Raleigh, N.C.; three sons, James Taylor of Raleigh, Cledith Taylor of Charlotte, N.C., and Roger Taylor of Beckley; nine sisters, Jolene Long, Willeen Fury, Edna Lilly, Wilma Taylor, Fay Milan, Mary Helen Taylor, Margaret Dickens, Mossy Webb and Martha Bailey; two brothers, Paul Taylor and Earl Taylor; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Flat Branch Baptist Church, Arnett, with Pastor Andrew Davis officiating and music by The Church Singers. Burial will follow in Cook Cemetery, Arnett. Daniel Joseph Tilley Daniel Joseph Tilley, 83, of 403 Stanley St., Beckley, formerly of Ravencliff, died at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, in a Beckley hospital following a long illness. Born March 14, 1916, in Mullens, he was the son of the late Joel Grady Tilley and Katherine "Katy" Tolliver Tilley. Mr. Tilley was a retired coal miner with 38 years of service and a member of the UMWA. He was a Beckley resident for the past 14 years, having previously resided in Glen Daniel. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Lena Tilley; seven brothers; and five sisters. Survivors include his devoted wife, Ellen Cooper Tilley; two sons, Eddie Tilley and his wife, Mae, of Ravencliff and Ronnie Cooper and his wife, Linda, of Saxon; a daughter, Robin Allen of Roanoke, Va.; a sister, Allie Bennett of Welch; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel, Beckley, with the Revs. Daniel Legg and Paul Blizzard officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley.
