Born July 6, 1962, in Denver, he was the son of Inez Osborne Aicher of Anchorage, Alaska, and the late Joe L. Aicher. Mr. Aicher was a disabled contractor. Other survivors include his wife, Tracie Scarbro Aicher; a son, Justin Aicher of Cirtsville; two brothers, Mike Aicher and his wife, Shelly, of Fayetteville and Jimmy Aicher of Anchorage; a sister, Patricia Haynes and her husband, Mark, of Palmer, Alaska; two nieces, Lacie Moss of Palmer and Therese Haynes of Anchorage; and six nephews, Stephen Moss of Palmer, Dustin Aicher of Anchorage, Christopher Aicher and Michael Aicher, both of Fayetteville, Aaron Scarbro of Charlotte, N.C., and Josh Scarbro of Oak Hill. Collins Sr. Harry McClure Collins Sr., 56, of Beckley, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999, following a long illness. Born March 18, 1943, in Pierpoint, he was the son of the late Roscoe Collins and Ruth Craft. Mr. Collins was a retired tractor-trailer driver and was a coal miner for 10 years. He was a member of UMWA District No. 29. His hobbies included racing with his son and friends at Beckley Speedway and time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Colllins; and two grandsons. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Stephanie Allen Collins; a son, Harry M. Collins II and his wife, Jennifer, of Beckley; a daughter, Clara Atha and her husband, Randall, of Clear Creek; a sister, Viola Privett and her husband, James, of Pierpoint; and two grandchildren, Baylee Nichole Collins and Haven Micheal McClure Collins, both of Beckley. Born April 4, 1913, in Zenith, he was the son of the late Frank Henry and Roberta Kate Miller Echols. Mr. Echols was a member of Gap Mills United Methodist Church, a graduate of Concord College, a former teacher in Monroe County, a past member of Milk Marketing Inc. and a retired dairyman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie A. Reynolds Echols, on March 5, 1992; and a brother, L. Roscoe Echols. Forest Road, Beckley, died at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999, at a Beckley hospital following a short illness. Born April 8, 1926, in Princeton, he was the son of the late Fred Roy Heron Sr. and Virginia Mae Boothe Heron. Mr. Heron retired as advertising manager of Wometco Coca Cola Bottling Co., Beckley. He was a gospel musician and singer, serving the Lord in many area churches. He attended Pikeview Christian Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife of nearly 54 years, Margaret L. Brown Heron; a son, Barry Glenn Heron and companion, Sue Dona, of Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Dorma Kay Smith and her husband, Jim, of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Donald L. Jackson WOLF CREEK ­ James Andrew Jackson, 21, went home to heaven to be with Jesus at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999. He died in his sleep at home following a long illness. Born Oct. 20, 1977, in Fairlea, he was the son of James W. and Donna Sue Cole Jackson of Wolf Creek. Andrew lived his entire life at home with his parents at Wolf Creek and attended Broad Run Baptist Church, Wolf Creek. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Louise Cole, in 1990; his paternal grandmother, Zula Jackson, in 1983; paternal grandfather, Cecil Jackson, in 1986, and two uncles, Billy Joe Cole and Walter Jackson. Mrs. Warner was a homemaker and a retiree of Rockingham County Senior High School. "RU" was a member of Mount Herman Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lee Warner Sr.; and six brothers, Joe Barnett, Harvey Barnett, Elmore Barnett, Walter Barnett, George Barnett and William Barnett.
