Obituary For Sarah Wilson, 1933 28 Apr. 1933 Raleigh Register Newspaper Beckley, WV --Aged Woman Dies Today-- --Mrs. Sarah H. Wilson To Be Buried At Mt. Tabor Church-- Mrs. Sarah F. Wilson, 87, widow of the late Robert T. Wilson of Harper, died this morning at 12:30 at the home of her son, George F. Wilson, near Ghent, where she had been for some time visiting. Her death was attributed to her great age more than to any particular ailment. She will be buried at Mt. Tabor cemetery following services there tomorrow afternoon at 2:30. She was for many years a member of the Baptist Church. A native of Fayette county, Virginia, she was born October 27, 1845, and resided the greater part of her life on the Harper-Cirtsville road. Her husband died in 1925. She leaves two sons, the one with whom she was residing at the time of her death, and R. J. Wilson, of Harper. Three living daughters are Mrs. Ava Ward, of Prosperity, Mrs. Eunice Wilson, of Metalton, and Mrs Levi Beckelheimer, of Harper. One brother, Chester Stanley, lives on the Harper road, and a sister, Mrs. Garner Wriston, on the Maple Fork road. Forty-six grandchildren and several great grandchildren who are living. The body was to be taken from the Calfee mortuary to the old Wilson home place on the Harper-Cirtsville road this afternoon to await the funeral hour. Dr. J. L. Lineweaver, of Beckley, will conduct the rites at Mt. Tabor. Six grandsons will act as pallbearers. They are Phillip, Dervin, Thomas, and George T. Wilson, Earl Ward, and Snowden Beckelheimer.
