Verna Vest Bennett in her 20s.

Verna Veatrice Vest (06 Jul 1908/27 Jan 1980) was the oldest daughter of 
Leonard Haliburton Vest and wife Emma Stella Gadd of White Oak Mountain, 
Raleigh County, W.Va. She married Fred Bennett (09 Feb 1910/ Dec 1972) of 
Abraham on 26 Nov 1931. She was a graduate of Shady Spring High School in 
Raleigh County and Concord College (now Concord University) in Athens, Mercer 
County, W.Va. Mrs. Bennett was a teacher who spent most of her career in 
Richmond District, Raleigh County.
