This information may be freely copied, but may not be sold. ********************************************************************* 1789 Deed between Nicholas PEATRO and wife Mary to Henry PEATRO Randolph County, WV Deed Book 1 page 106 This Indenture, Made this twenty fifth day of August, Anne Domini, one thousand seven hundred and eighty-nine, between Nicholas PEATRO, and Mary his wife, of the county of Randolph, and State of Virginia, of the one part, and Henry PEARTO of the county of Randolph and state aforesaid of the other part. WITNESSETH: That the said Nicholas PEATRO, and Mary his wife, for and in considerationof the sum of Seventy Pounds, to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, and sold, aliened, enfoeff, and confirm unto the said Henry PEATRO, his heirs or assigns forever, a certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being in the county of Randolph, on the East side of Tygarts Valley River, adjoining Benjamin WILSON, Daniel WESTFALL, Abraham KITTLE, Jacob WHITE and bounded as followeth, to-wit: BEGINNING at a black oak on top of a hill, said WILSONS corner; North twenty eight degrees Westthirty poles to a white oak and maple, his corner; North twenty-nine degrees West twenty poles to a white oak his corner; North thirty-four degrees West fourty-six poles to two white oaks, his corner North fifty-four degrees West fourteen poles to an ash and white oak; North fourty-four degrees West one hundred and thirty-eight poles to a white oak; North sixteen degrees East sixty-two poles to a white oak;North eighty-five degrees West thirty-four poles to two white oaks, KITTLES corner; South fifty-two degrees West one hundred and ten poles to a beech; South fifty-five degrees East sixty poles to a cherry and hickory; South eleven degrees East sixty-four poles to a beech; South twenty degrees East thirty-six poles tp a beech, WESTFALLS corner;South fourty- two degrees East one hundred and six poles to a spanish oak and hickory, his corner;South seventy-nine degrees East ninety-four poles to a white oak, his corner;North thirty-two degrees East fourty-four poles to the beginning containing One Hundred and Ninety-Five Acres, together with all the ways, waters, water courses, profits and commodities thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits of all and singular the above mentioned premises, and every part and parcel thereof, with their and every of their appurtenance, To HAVE AND TO HOLD, the said tract or parcel of land above mentioned premises, and in every part and parcel thereof, with their and every of their appuryenances, unto the said Henry PEATRO, his heirs, and assigns forever. And the said Nicholas PEATRO and Mary, his wife, for themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators, do covenant, promise and grant to and with the said Henry PEATRO, his heirs and assigns that the said Nicholas PEATRO and Mary, his wife, now at the time of sealing and delivery of these presents are seized of a good, sure, perfect and indefeasable estate of inheritance in fee simple of, and in the premises hereby granted and that they have good power and lawful auhority to convey the same to the said Henry PEATRO in manner and form aforesaid and the said Nicholas PEATRO and Mary, his wife, their heirs and assigns do covenant, promise and grant to and with the said Henry PEATRO his heirs and assigns that the said Henry PEATRO, his heirs and assigns, shall and may from time to time and at all times forever hereafter peaceably equiety, have, hold use, occupy and enjoy all and singular of the right, title, interest, claim and demand of the said Nicholas PEATRO, and Mary, his wife, in and to the saif tract of land and premises above mentioned with the appurtenances, without and let, trouble, hinderance, molestation, interruption or denial whatsoever of them the said Nicholas PEATRO and Mary his wife, heirs and assigns, and of and from all and every other persons lawfully claiming under them or any person or persons whatsoever, laying any lawful claim thereto.
